The Ashland Outdoor Store is aiming to provide everyone with all the information they need to get out into the backcountry. The information provided in this section will help you discover option for where to go backcountry skiing, what the appropriate equipment you will want to use, and what kind of weather and conditions to expect when you go. Backcountry skiing is one of our greatest passions here at AOS and we are lucky to live in an area that offers such a wide variety of skiing options. With the options of high elevation skiing on Mt. Shasta and McGloughlin, or meadows, bowls, and epic tree runs at Mount Bailey, we really are living in a winter wonderland. So be sure to use the resources on this page to get out there and get after it. We are aiming to continually be adding more and more information to this page so be sure to check back soon and regularly. Backcountry Skiing is inherently dangerous. Please be sure to take all proper precautions and safety measures. |
