The Pacific Northwest is known for its incredible whitewater rafting, and for good reason. Oregon itself is home to some of the nations' most popular rafting rivers, including Deschutes River, Rogue River, and the Upper Klamath. Many popular runs are only a few hours from Ashland, making rafting a great day trip or overnight adventure. Most runs vary in difficulty from novice to highly advanced, so when you're planning a trip, consider the experience of your group and select a river that will meet everyone's skill level. While we do not offer such services at the Ashland Outdoor Store, we are happy to answer all your whitewater questions, from guiding options to put-in locations.
